Claverham School Sailing week

In the summer term of 2023 we ran a sailing week activity for Claverham School in East Sussex. Students from the school participated in activities each day and gained knowledge of the RYA Sailing scheme, Sea safety and developed their physical skills. Learning to sail on the sea and on princes park lake in our fleet of Laser Pico and RS Zest dinghies.

This is what the teachers said about their experience

”We just wanted to provide some feedback on our week with Buzz Active Eastbourne. We were really impressed with the confidence, enthusiasm, knowledge and skill of the instructors. They were fantastic at engaging and enthusing our pupils, some of whom were a little nervous of the water! They were incredibly patient and kind and as a result our pupils had the most amazing week. The versatility of the instructors to switch activities based on the changing weather conditions whilst still ensuring our pupils didn’t miss out and had a great time was admirable. The vast majority of our pupils picked their day with Buzz Active as their favourite experience of the week (no mean feat when it has included activities such as Thorpe Park amongst others!) Thanks so much for having us and we have already emailed to book in again next year!
